Episode 3 - Failures

We missed you last week, but we've now got episode 3 up!

You can watch it here.

We talk about some of our less successful project attempts -- our failures, or, our First Attempts In Learning. ;)

Hope you like it.

Episode 2 - WIP's

Episode 2 is now up!

Watch it here.

Work in progress (WIP)

We decided to start the episode with a few of our frogged attempts to record the day before. Collectively, they struck us as pretty humorous (we like to laugh at ourselves, so feel free to join in), even if we didn't always see it in the moment. After those, we gave it a rest and then started over, revisiting everything with a new approach, not unlike how we sometimes tackle hibernating WIPs.

In this episode we look at our current WIPs, question their status as WIPs, and think about how or when they might move from WIPs to FOs (finished objects).

Episode 1 - Introduction

We did it!

Watch it here.

We may have just recorded and uploaded episode 1 - Two Sheep is attempting to podcast! We're calling it a WIP, or you could liken it to that first knitting project you ever made - we look forward to improving...but we're just pretty happy that most of it actually worked out, and our fear didn't come true, the microphone did not topple over mid-recording!

We love knitting and we really enjoy the community that watching/listening to a podcast provides when we want to feel, think, and hear knitting. So we hope this provides some company while you knit. And thank you for having us.

Please leave a comment if you'd like to. We are curious what the ideal podcast length might be.

We reference different patterns throughout the episode, and what we thought we'd do is write our "show notes" here. So you can find all the patterns we mention and a link to them below. (Hopefully I didn't leave any out, if you catch one, feel free to leave a comment here on our blog letting us know.)

Welcome!

We're kind of excited.

We are going to start podcasting (that is verb right?)!!

We have had our Instagram account (@we_are_two_sheep) for a while, and now we are going to add a podcast about knitting/making, and also start a blog (this blog), where we can post about new and upcoming episodes.

We did a test round of video recording today, for the first time. The technology side needs a little (lot of) work. Nothing knitting related was discussed, but I'll leave you with a short clip because it's rather funny. We swear this outtake does not represent the quality of future episodes. ;)

We will keep this blog updated with posts about our hopefully soon-to-be podcast - once we sort out the microphone. First up will be introductions. But for now, welcome!
