Good Morning (if it is also morning where you are)!
It has been longer then usual (a trip, some pesky colds, and uncooperative technology got in our way), but we have recorded episode 8 finally!
You can find it
here.
In this episode we talk about our finished objects, and what we like about them. We also talk about a recent trip to Montreal. While we were there we stopped by the yarn shop Espace Tricot, so we discuss that visit in this episode (and show the skeins that came home with us). And of course, we discuss our wips (there are always wips). We have a few new ones on our needles that we haven't shown before. Plus, Vivian explores test knitting.
Shownotes:
FO's:
Jennifer finished her
Mara Shawl.
Vivian finished
Carbeth.
Jennifer finished her yellow
socks dyed with onion skins
using
catskill merino yarn
Trip:
Yarn we bought at
Espace Tricot
We each bought a few skeins of
Lichen and Lace.
(Jennifer fell hard for the sunburnt lobster color way.)
Jennifer bought Rauma Strikkegarn (and their color card too). We were unable to find a website to link to them, but Rauma is on Espace Tricot's website.
Vivian bought a cone of
Julie Asselin's yarn.
Vivian also bought two skeins of
Knitting it up (dyed especially for Espace Tricot).
We also visited
Lunch à porter and bought small furoshiki cloths and handles to use as project bags.
Wips with patterns:
Vivian is working on her
Penicuik Shawl by Justyna Lorkowska.
Jennifer is working on her
Thrummed Mittens by Toronto Knit Cafe.
Thank you for watching! :)
